The initiative focuses on the creation and realization of projects that value storytelling, author-driven creation, and artistic impact, working in the conception and production of exhibitions, theatrical productions, musicals, books, and special projects. The division includes associated producers Claudia Odorissío and Valéria Macedo, professionals with extensive experience in the cultural sector in Brazil and internationally.

Part of the creative ecosystem of Axon, Axon Cultural connects artists, institutions, and sponsors to develop initiatives that expand access to the arts and strengthen contemporary cultural relevance.

Stage Play

A sharp, intelligent comedy, acclaimed by both audiences and critics in Madrid and Buenos Aires, the play is written by renowned filmmaker Lars Von Trier in his only text originally conceived for the theater.

It is directed by Ricardo Hornos, winner of six Tony Awards, who brings a precise, contemporary, and provocative staging to the production.

Oscarito brings to the stage, for the first time, the story of the greatest Brazilian comedian of all time. An absolute icon of Brazilian cinema, Oscarito is presented as the “Brazilian Charles Chaplin” in a surprising, innovative, and large-scale musical that revisits his personal and artistic journey through a contemporary, emotional, and widely accessible language.

Portinari in China

Exhibition

For the first time in China, the galleries of the National Museum of China will open to host the work of Candido Portinari, the artist who not only painted Brazil, but captured its essence. The exhibition will feature 60 original works by Portinari. With an estimated 30,000 visitors per day over four months, the show is expected to welcome around 4 million people.
